Dad's Hat

So, my 7 year old comes into the kitchen wearing his dad's hat. He looked so darn cute, and so "grown up" and so much like his father. I just looked at him with adoration in my eyes and said, "You look so cute in Dad's hat. Guess there's no chance you would let me grab a couple of shots while you're wearing it." And to my surprise, his response was an enthusiastic YES. Wow... my little boy is growing up. The time just keeps flying by!

The antique table in the background of this image is a Welch family heirloom adding a little extra meaning to the composition. I like that I can see, what are, family photos on top of the table. I also like the table's reflection on the floor and how it's lines wrap parallel to my son's shoulder.
