Morning in the Redwoods

A couple of Saturdays ago, the early morning weather was just too heavenly to not indulge in. With both boys still sleeping, I decided to escape while I could! :) The blue skies and extra warm temps inspired me to head up to one of my favorite places, Big Basin State Park, where the morning sunlight dances between the redwoods. And as much as this special place provides a feast for the senses, the opportunity at peace and solitude is perhaps the biggest treat of all. A perfect time to sit, reflect, enjoy the moment and give thanks.
